The Municipality of Campomaggiore organizes a series of major cultural events in the charming village of Campomaggiore Vecchio, known as the City of Utopia. The program includes light shows, multimedia and theatrical performances, music festivals, concerts and art exhibitions, all aimed at enhancing the history and culture of the old village. The events take place from July to September 2026.

Matera (MT)
The TAM Tower Art Museum in Matera dedicates a major exhibition to graphic designer Mauro Bubbico, open from July 30, 2026 to January 10, 2027. The exhibition path develops on two intertwined levels: "Annodare Sorgenti" collects documents, images and materials that inspired his visual communication projects, while "Supermanifesto" presents over sixty posters spanning about twenty years of graphic production, including commissioned works and self-productions. The installation is organized in thematic rooms and highlights the artist's creative process, showing both the sources and the final outcomes of his work on author posters. During the opening period, the exhibition will be accompanied by conferences, meetings, workshops and labs designed to produce cultural content related to the Matera and Basilicata area.
Iniziative Estate e Natale 2026 - Associazione Donne Armentesi

Program of initiatives promoted by the Associazione Donne Armentesi (A.D.A.) for summer and Christmas 2026. The program includes the decoration of the Fontana Lunga, four workshop appointments in August as part of the projects "Il filo che ci unisce" and "Costruiamo margherite", as well as a gospel concert during the Christmas period. The activities aim at aggregation, inclusion, enhancement of craftsmanship and awareness against gender violence.

The Association Amici del Borgo La Martella organizes the cultural program '70 ANNI E… OLTRE 2026' at the Teatro Quaroni in Borgo La Martella. The program, which runs from August 3 to September 30, 2026, includes cultural activities aimed at enhancing and promoting the historical, cultural heritage and traditions of the local peasant civilization, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Borgo La Martella, recognized as the Italian Capital of Literary Villages.
Mostra artistica "Processione di San Rocco in Tolve in miniatura"

An exhibition of miniature nativity scenes dedicated to the traditional procession of San Rocco, patron saint of Tolve. The exhibition, set up at the Conventual Church of San Francesco (Chiesa dell'Annunciata), will be open from August 14 to September 16, 2026. The initiative is part of the patronal festivities program and the "Intangible Cultural Heritage 2026" project, funded by the Basilicata Region. The exhibition offers a unique opportunity to admire local craftsmanship and rediscover the town's religious traditions.

On September 3, 10, 24 and 28, 2026, in Chiaromonte, the project "Artesplorando" will take place. It is a cycle of 4 experiential workshops aimed at enhancing cultural identity through the rediscovery of local traditions and artistic expressions. The educational experience will allow participants to be active subjects in a knowledge operation to stimulate recovery and psycho-physical well-being processes and enhance social communication.
