Utopias - Utopie di Luce e Colore
Matera, Chiesa del Purgatorio
The solo exhibition “Utopias - Utopie di Luce e Colore” offers a visual exploration of Italo Calvino’s book “Invisible Cities”, starting from the ancient Rioni Sassi of Matera. The paintings decontextualize and reinterpret the Sassi through visionary color palettes and the artist’s personal interpretations. The exhibition, under the patronage of the Municipality of Matera, offers the public an artistic journey that combines literature and painting in a dialogue between past and imagination.
