Pretoria Sound
Piazza Mario Pagano, Potenza
From 9 July 2026, Piazza Mario Pagano hosts the OpenStage totem, permanently installed for the summer series Pretoria Sound. The urban music station has an integrated sound system and can be activated by artists directly via their smartphone, by booking a time slot through the dedicated app. The project, promoted by the Municipality of Potenza, transforms the historic centre into an open-air stage. Every evening, and on some afternoons, the totem welcomes live performances by young talents, street artists and performers, offering citizens and visitors a meeting point enlivened by music throughout the summer.

On August 9, 2026, in Pignola (PZ), the event "I Colori del Folklore" will take place, dedicated to traditional music and dances from around the world. The evening includes a parade of the guest groups at 6:30 PM, followed by the main show in Piazza Nuova at 9:00 PM. Among the participants are the Bacnare' ballet from Brazil, the Inka group from Peru, the Rocky Mountain Express from the United States, and the folk group "La Pacchianella" from Pisticci.

L'evento è organizzato dall'Amministrazione Comunale e prevede la chiusura al traffico veicolare di via Breccia (dall'intersezione con la SS 169 Via Cadorna fino al civico 29) dalle ore 16:00 fino a cessato evento.
