Tumact Me Tulez - Festival of Aglianico del Vulture and Local Products

Barile (PZ)

The thirtieth edition of Tumact Me Tulez brings the best of Lucanian food and wine to Barile, with Aglianico del Vulture as the absolute protagonist. The name of the festival recalls the town's signature dish: a pasta format similar to tagliatelle, seasoned with tomato, anchovies, fried breadcrumbs and walnuts. For two days the historic center comes alive with tasting stands, open cellars and local producers offering wine, oil, cheeses and cured meats. The event is recognized as Lucanian Intangible Cultural Heritage and every year attracts visitors from all over the region.
